Founders - Brittany Dale and Lindsay KavanaghAbout The Founders

Brittany Dale (pronouns she/her) is a musical theatre enthusiast, born in Brockville, ON – she moved around a lot as a child.  Brittany attended St.Lawrence College and graduated with a diploma in Musical Theatre.  Her favourite musicals are RENT, Dogfight, If/Then, and The Last Five Years.  Brittany loves to keep busy working.  You can find her at Karters’ Korner and Fatboys Southern Smokehouse.  She is also the Hospitality Coordinator for the Ottawa Burlesque Festival.  When she isn’t working, Brittany can be found doing yoga, cuddling with her cat, or performing burlesque as her alter-ego “Kopy Cat”.  Brittany’s dream is to stay in Giraffe Manor in Kenya and also meet April the Giraffe.  Fun fact, Brittany spent countless hours waiting for April to give birth and watched it live when it happened.


Lindsay Kavanagh (pronouns she/her), born and raised in Stittsville, ON is a full-time account manager at seoplus+.  She has a passion for SEO, and all things Digital Marketing.  When she isn’t working you can find her coaching basketball for the Ottawa JUEL Prep U16 Team.   Lindsay also teaches classes about Shopify/E-commerce SEO at Invest Ottawa and also teaches an SEO course at Camp Tech.  Lindsay is a cat-fanatic and can often be found listening to Christina Aguilera, Adele, and Julie Andrews.  Lindsay will always cry at the Sound of Music… every time.

Meet the Team

Jayce (pronouns they/them) was born and raised in Belleville, ON and has since moved to Ottawa for school. They have a certificate in Pre-Health sciences and are currently in their 2nd year of Medical Radiation Technology at Algonquin College. On the rare occasion when they are not busy being a science nerd or working at Starbucks, Jayce likes to spend their time reading, going for long walks, writing poetry and invading friends places to play with their pets. They currently are working on their goals of being a mental health advocate and are hoping to break from their shell and be a drag king. 
Rebekah (Bekki) Wilson is a writer and life lover, originally from small-town Markdale, ON. Ever had Chapman’s Ice Cream? That’s where it’s made! Rebekah studied Print Journalism at Sheridan College in Oakville before making the move to Ottawa where she has focused much of her work on youth empowerment and Indigenous relations. In 2014, Rebekah published a children’s book about Metis history. Rebekah is also a fitness enthusiast, spending her free time running obstacle course races, playing hockey and lifting weights.
