Julie Keon, Life-Cycle Celebrant & Marriage Officiant
Ottawa, ON, Canada

Celebrants are professional life-cycle ceremony officiants who believe in the power and effectiveness of ceremony and ritual to serve basic needs of society and the individual. They collaborate with their clients to create and perform personalized ceremonies that reflect the clients’ beliefs, philosophy of life and personalities; not the Celebrant’s. Certified Life Cycle Celebrants have received specific and intensive training through an 8-month course through the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, the only training facility of its kind in North America. When you enlist the services of a Life Cycle Celebrant®, you can be assured that you are receiving the highest quality officiant.Training includes but is not limited to: the art of story telling, the use of rituals and symbolism, the structure/creation and purpose of ceremony, highest standards of professionalism, voice training and evaluation, skilled writing and a keen sense of what is most important to their clients. I am only one of fifteen Certified Life Cycle Celebrants in Ontario. If you want the highest quality ceremony and service and want to get away from ‘cookie-cutter’ or canned ceremonies, then hiring a qualified Celebrant will guarantee that. I serve couples getting married in the Ottawa valley (Arnprior, Renfrew, Calabogie, Cobden, Eganville, Pembroke, Petawawa, etc.) and in the city of Ottawa and beyond!
